THE MAGAZINE BRINGS A CRIMINAL ACTION AGAINST PUTIN, YASTERZHEMSKY, MANILOV WITH RESPECT TO ACTIONS OF SPECIAL SERVICES AGAINST ANDREI BABITSKY
After the material "Andrei Babitsky: a Bit of Common Sense in Troubled Water" was published on February 5, 200 on the web-site of the magazine
"Dos'e na Tsensuru" in the editorial section, my confidential source informed me that on the video broadcasted all over the country was in reality about Babitski being handed over by one Russian secret service to another Russian secret service.
This was the ground of mine application to the General Prosecutor Office. I ask the general prosecutor deputy to consider initiation of criminal proceedings:
- on the basis of art. 127 of the Criminal Code of Russian Federation ("Illegal Imprisonment") and art. 144 of Criminal Code of Russian Federation ("Impeding journalists from in their legal professional activities ") against persons who organized and implemented handing over of Babitski recorded on video;
- on the basis of art. 293 of the Criminal Code of Russian Federation ("Negligence") against the head of the government of Russian Federation (acting president of Russia) V.Putin, who declared that the Babitsky case is under his control and therefore took personal responsibility for legal and lawful treatment of the journalist;
- on the basis of art. 293 of the Criminal Code of Russian Federation ("Negligence") and on the basis of art. 316 of the Criminal Code of Russian Federation ("Concealment of Crimes") against S.Yasrzhembski and V.Manilov, who using their position of officials responsible for providing official information of the Government of Russian Federation on behalf of the Government approved and encouraged actions of the Russian secret services in respect of journalist Babitski.
(See the application to the General Persecutor and a short legal assessment of circumstances of the Babitsky arrest, prepared by the Legal Service of the Protection of the Publicity Founadation enclosed.)
